CLUB DATES
The club re-starts for the new Autumn chess term on Friday 9 September 2011.
Club nights are every Friday 6-8pm and will be held weekly until half-term.
The last meeting of the term will be on Friday 9 December. There is no meeting on Friday 28 October (half-term), or on the last day of term (Friday 16 December). There will be a total of 13 Club Evenings during the term.

The committee always looks at how the club runs and whether action is necessary to benefit the club. As an example of this, a formal comprehensive club child protection policy has been developed and introduced and is being regularly reviewed and a nominated club official is responsible for this (if you want details please ask a committee member). A membership pack is now available. Coaching and playing initiatives and general new club ideas are agreed upon and implemented. Please feel able to give feedback to the committee to help with the smooth running of the club. Also look out for any club changes on the website and in the club newsletter(NewsKnight) and hopefully the committee members will keep all aware of any policy updates! Committee meetings are held regularly. Minutes for these and the AGM are available (see links below).
